About Me
Training under Simon Kidd, renowned Maples & Co taught furniture maker, from 2011 to 2014, I garnered a wide breadth of knowledge in furniture making across all styles. I worked for several years within the workshop of Simon Kidd in conjunction with Sedillia, one of London’s most prestigious makers of bespoke upholstered furniture.
Through these years of making custom pieces, work was completed for many of the capital’s most sought after interior designers including Jonathan Reed, David Collins, Rui Ribeiro, Suzy Hoodless and Martin Brudnizki. Through these designers, items were made for Jimmy Choo, Alexander McQueen, and Kent & Curwen stores worldwide. Many high-end restaurants and bars across London were also provided for.
Working at Somerset House for Makerversity between 2015 and 2017, I developed skills around digital processes including 3D printing, laser cutting and CNC routing, of which I am now fully proficient. As a freelance maker I have delivered unique pieces for display at Tate Britain, The Design Museum, and Somerset House itself, for design companies as well as countless studios and private homes around the capital.
